in the first months after I opened my studio, I had a man who needed corporate headshots for his real estate business. then I thought that I could be shooting headshots for real estate agents. years passed until this lady walked into my studio. she told me that she was working for a real estate company.
kadri is a professional who works for an upscale company – christie’s – that I didn’t even know was involved with that line of business. she wanted some headshots to update her company picture and some for her personal branding. I usually ask clients what type of pictures they were looking for. people tell you more about themselves by what they wear and how they move. she wore a light pink suit and wore discrete jewelry. it worked well with her light skin and blonde hair. I used light grey background with pinkish undertone. I saw in her some elegance and classiness. so I decided to focus on two aspects: formal and classy. she looks self-assured, result-oriented, yet friendly but overall someone you can trust.
